Exploring Southern Charms in the Carolinas

Jeff and I have truly enjoyed our travels along the Intracoastal Waterway (also known as the ICW). The ICW is a gem of an alternative, protected route for boaters that runs parallel to the Atlantic coast and open ocean.

We’ve run up from Florida to Georgia (pretty marshes, but lots of horseflies!), and then on to South Carolina where we visited dear friends Ken and Marie on Dataw Island and picked up another special couple of friends Bruce and Deb to join us aboard Oyster for a few fun filled days. Check out the video blog to join our passages so far…and get a glimpse of the not-so-fun place that we ended up in 😭!
